Can anyone please tell me/help me as i wish to upgrade the 1983-1986 Yamaha CA 50 Forks by replacing the Stock front fork shocks with high Performance Shocks.
Does any shock make make better fork shocks than stock?
The CV 50 and 80 could also use better fork shocks as these models also came with twin fork shocks????
I just figured better fork shocks would make the ride more performance and supple.
If you don't know about front shocks can you give me some rear shock companies and I can call them about this Front shocks Question.

I am also looking to buy a pair of these front Forks/with shocks and front brake also if anyone has them for sale or knows where I may find them?

Thanks,
Twist

A pair of used forks off a newer disc brake Yamaha Zuma should work with a bit of modding. Do the measuring and make sure the bearing races are the same (or can be switched) and give it a go. I've done a pair on a Jog and it wasnt that hard, just make sure you support the front end good during the break down/rebuild. I hung the front end from the rafters in the garage.

anything can be done if you're creative enough.
