Hi guys. Here is my barn find 82 that I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Dan and Ducman have already been very helpful in my carb questions. Scooter and moped fixing up is a hobby of mine. I think this one makes # 6.

Yeah in good shape, and when you change that ugly rearlight to a european one it would be a real beauty.

yep....changing that fugly light set up is my first mod. I may need your translation services for ebay! But actually, the seller I got my carb from may have a NOS one.
The rack has been touched up with some grey spray paint so I'm not sure if it was just a lazy man's polish job or what. I'm going to take it off and shine it up properly. |

Saweet! First mod on the Beluga and I don't even have it running yet. Found a NOS European tail light unit on Ebay and its on the way. Same seller that I got my NOS carb from. Love that guy! |

Sweet. This is an awesome find. I believe you'll be able to internalize the blinkers with this part as well. See my thread in the how-to section about converting your external blinkers into internal ones using this taillight. It really cleans up the look of the rear end. |

For sure. Your thread already inspired the purchase in the first place. I also hate the front "extended" blinkers and I think one of mine is busted as there is a big gap. Even though I like the flush look, I'll doubt I'll bother tracking down a set overseas. If they fall into my lap, I will but I won't spend along time dwelling about it.
Pretty good melt here today. I lifted the cover on the CH250 and thought about a ride but the roads are pretty wet and grubby yet. |

Yeah we're having a warm day on the west coast too. It's kinda nice....gets you excited for summer and all the great things that come with that.
The flushmount blinkers can still be purchased from yamaha in markets where they were originally sold (Japan, some of Europe) so if you know someone over there, getting a set could be as easy as getting them to drop in at their local dealer. I got an acquaintance in Japan to order a set for me for about $70. |

Hello all!
I am new here and just wanted to say hello!
I have a 1982 CV80 and have had her for 2 years. It runs great, I just need an exahust as the repairs that were done to the one on my CV80 right now (before I bought her) have failed and it sounds like I am under attack!
Anyway, I look forward to reading people's stories on here!
All the best,
Chris |

Hello RoadcapDen,
I'm based in Vancouver, nice place to live, but it rains a fair amount. Our riding season goes from March to October though, so you can get a lot out of your scoot.
It's a great city to own a motorcycle, love the sea air all around, and the views from the bridges are awesome when you are free from a car's frame. The only thing is, for a so called environmental city, everyone drives a car, so you can't find garages or parts very easily!
I checked out your website from the link, love those flames on our white CV80! Do you happen to know if the exhaust from an '83 will fit an '82?
Cheers, and I hope the Honda serves you well!

Ya, I was out to Vancouver years ago for a visit, loved Gastown , the Island and the bridges.
Our fearless leader here is from Whistler BC, He can tell you re exhaust fitments, I'm not sure. 83's are faster I believe so the exhaust maybe different.
I did those flames for my Daughter, but she never rode it, long gone now. _________________ roadcapDen
